2nd November Club Meeting

President Jill Plant

Visit from District Chairman Pat Cole -

After supper District Chairman Pat Cole told us of her Inner Wheel involvement and how she enjoyed it.    She joined 11 years ago and wondered at the beginning if this was for her.   However, following the old adage that “the more you put in the more you get out of it”  she has become happily involved in all aspects of Inner Wheel though International Service is her first love.   She gave a very positive message of what is happening in the District.    She would like to encourage clubs and their members to mix where possible.   Her Charity is the Wildlife Trust because she always finds that nature revives her spirits.  Pat is also a volunteer on a ferry boat in St Ives for the Ladybird Trust which gives trips to disadvantaged people in every walk of life.

19th November - Inner Wheel Work Day at Jill Plant's home. This was very enjoyable and made a profit of £35.40. Grateful thanks to Jill for all her hard work.
