APRIL 2019.

This is the time of the year when we try to give something back to the Community and our tradition has been to provide food and entertainment for people attending a club where many of the members have some form of disability. Inner Wheel members provided a mountain of food  and entertainment was provided by a local ululeke band,

Handover night. July 2019

A memorable occasion at the beginning of our IW year is always our Handover night when this year President Lidia handed over to our new President Shirley

Shirley was welcomed by Rotarian President David Cross who said that he hoped Shirley would have a good year , and offered the support of the Rotary club.  Shirley has been  President of the Club  before , so is  feeling a little more  confident in her new role than she did  first time round! and is also 1st vice Chairman and Secretary  of District 7 so has a very busy year ahead of her. Members of the club will support her in her new roles as much as possible

July 2019

We held our annual tea party in one of our Members gardens. The weather was perfect and we all enjoyed scones with lashings of jam and cream followed by cakes, which were all baked by our members. (The diets started the next day!! ) We were very grateful to our friends from other Clubs who supported us by spending money at our' Bring and Buy stall and plant stall ' and raising a good amount for our International fund. Many thanks to Babel and Bob for the use of their splendid garden and kitchen  .Overall we raised a considerable amount of money for our International fund

Many thanks to one of our members Liz for organising the trip,
